The communications option can be added so that the ACC can be operated individually or in groups remotely.
All Hunter Controllers can be connected to a rain sensor so prevent overwatering. When it’s been raining, the last thing you want is to waste water on already wet gardens. The rain sensor overrides the controller and prevents it from coming on until the sensor dries out. Hunter manufactures the Rain-Clik and the Mini-Clik Rain Sensors. Rain sensors come in models that are hard wired back to the controller and others that are wireless. Needless to say the wireless models are far more expensive to buy.
All Hunter Controllers can be connected to a Soil Moisture sensor so prevent overwatering. When the soil is saturated, the last thing you want is to waste water on already wet gardens. The Soil Clik sensor overrides the controller and prevents it from coming on until the sensor dries out. The Soil Clik come in models that are hard wired back to the controller.
Hunter Industries also make some specialist sensors.
Freeze- Clik for shutting down your irrigation system when it is freezing.
Wind – Clik for shutting down your system when it is too windy.
Mini Weather Station combines Wind and Rain and Freeze Sensors.
Flow-Clik for measuring water flow.
