Brass fittings comprise a wide range of pipe attachments, threaded fasteners and flare fittings. Due to its exceptional rust-resistance, hardness, durability and flexibility, brass is widely used in plumbing applications, and most pipe fittings are available in brass. We stock a wide range of brass fittings including: Bushes, Connectors, Elbows, Extensions, Flared Compressions, Hose Cocks, Nipples, Plugs, Reducers, Sockets, Tee’s, Union’s & more.
Brass Ball Valves
These general purpose Brass Ball Valves are used for isolating irrigation and plumbing systems under high or low pressure applications. They feature a quarter turn handle to allow ease of functioning and operation, as well as a quick on/off function for convenience. We recommend utilising Brass Ball Valves for tank outlets, adapting of a tap, or fitted on the discharge side of your water pump. Available in DR or standard.
Brass Gate Valves
General Purpose Brass Gate Valves are used for isolating sections within irrigation or plumbing systems under high or low pressure applications. Usually used over ball valves, Gate Valves allow you to open and close the piping with the use of a simple tap handle. Available in DR or standard.
Brass Spring Check Valves
Brass Spring Check Valves are the perfect fitting for preventing backflow contamination in tank systems. Unlike Swing Check Valves, these Spring Check Valves don’t provide ample protection to be able to prevent backflow to mains water, but they are the ideal valve for tank systems linked with mains water.
Brass Swing Check Valves
This quality high pressure rated brass swing check valve is used to prevent backflow situations where there is not ample pressure to open a spring trap. They are ideal for installations including irrigation systems, light industrial and rural applications.
Brass Compression Fittings
Compression fittings eliminate the need for soldering or welding a connection, which makes them quick and simple to use. Further, no special skill or tool is needed to assemble and install the fitting. If a fitting is needed in an area that may need to be disassembled for maintenance, the joints can be broken and reassembled without damage to the connection. Some of our compression fittings include:
Brass Screwed Fittings
Threaded fittings have a 1-piece connection end that is used to connect to port/block. These threads create the seal for the connection with the support of Teflon tape or pipe dope and are manufactured in a tapered, cone-shape. Some of our screwed fittings include:
